“Place different from the pictures on the web site. 10 min driving in the jungle to reach the place, no signals. Hosted in a TENT, no room shower, no hot water, dirty room, gym dirty with birds excrements. Poor breakfast (additional 25$ per person), no orange juice, no eggs, flying insects on the food. Worm in the shared shower ..... We booked 3 nights, after 1 night we left asked for reimbursement, hotel refused claiming that is expedia problem. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !”

“This Hawaiian style house has been thoughtfully and carefully renovated so that it retains the charm of the 1940s plantation house but is totally comfortable for a longer stay. We loved it. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need - including a wine fridge and plenty of dishware and cooking utensils. Large airy rooms, including a sun room off the kitchen and a dining room. “The host was great so kind sharing local spots for hiking food photography of gorgeous sunsets and beautiful beach excursions nearby. Each morning We had a wonderful time waking up looking at Maui in the distance with Haleakala, towering from the blue Pacific Ocean. Such a relaxing environment with fruit trees, animals, cool breezes and breathtaking beauty all around thank you so much for a great mini getaway for my wife and I. ”

“We had a wonderful time here. The setup of the property was such that our large family of 16 (8 adults 8 children aged 2mo. - 7yo) had plenty of room to spread out. The pool area was such a great spot in the middle of the houses for everyone to get together and have lunch or swim. There was also a great artificial lawn area in front of the main house that the young children loved to play on. She regularly provided us with delicious farm produce, took us on tours, and gave useful tips about the surrounding area. “This is an amazingly beautiful place. You can see the ocean from the bedroom, and when the weather is clear Maui too. There are so many stars on clear nights, and we saw several rainbows. The whole property is basically a tropical garden, with little paths through the woods and citrus and avocado trees, which guests are welcome to enjoy as much as they want. Words and photos can't describe how beautiful and replenishing this location is.The hosts are lovely and welcoming - truly good people....

“We loved our stay. Such a peaceful place with an incredible view. The hale itself is super comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Excellent location for the best swimming beaches on the island, which are a short drive away. We were a bit unlucky with the mosquitoes in what's normally a very dry area—hopefully next time will be more typical. A very special spot that was exactly what we were looking for. Showering under the stars was especially memorable! ”
